Saturday, Sept 26 · 6:30–8:30 PM — honor extraordinary legal professionals and community leaders inducted into the National HBCU Pre-Law Hall of Fame.
Aspiring Lawyers Pinning Ceremony
Saturday, Sept 26 · 6:30–8:30 PM — held with the Hall of Fame ceremony; a licensed attorney pins every aspiring lawyer participant and you'll receive your official Summit pin.

How do I check in when I arrive?
Check-in on Sept 24 is handled through Eventbrite. Have your Eventbrite ticket (email or app) ready at the door — your ticket tier is shown in your Hub.
What forms do I need to sign before I arrive?
Every registrant signs the required policies and forms — terms, media release, and the rest. Accessibility requests and incident reports are optional and available any time.
Which sessions require a separate sign-up?
Capped experiences — mock class, advisement clinic, pinning ceremony, law school tours, and the NC History & Culture Tour — are first come, first served through your Hub.
Where should I stay and how do I get around?
We list host hotels plus mid-range and budget-friendly options, along with airport, driving, and parking guidance for the Triangle.
Is my information shared with law schools or sponsors?
Only if you opt in. You choose whether your name and email are shared with law schools and sponsors, and you can change it at any time.
How do I meet other registrants before the Summit?
Opt in to the Attendee Directory, join the registrant chat channels, or post in Roommates & Rides to split a hotel or coordinate a drive.
What should I read or prepare beforehand?
Start with the three official booklets — planning, strategy, and sponsorship — and use the excuse-letter templates to request time off from work or school.
Does the Summit cover flights or hotel rooms?
Unfortunately, the Summit does not have the resources to cover flight or hotel accommodations for registrants at this time. We share hotel options and group rates to help you plan, and we encourage you to ask your campus office, pre-law advisor, or student organization about travel funding support.
